Product Type

Each Shopify product includes a Type property. ONIXEDIT Bookstore gives you three flexible options to define it:

Use ONIX ProductForm for Shopify Product Type (default): This option maps the Shopify Product Type to the ONIX field ProductForm, a mandatory element in the ONIX standard used to describe the format of the product.
Set Shopify Product Type as: You can assign a fixed value to the Shopify Product Type, regardless of the ONIX metadata.
Set Product Type using an XPath Expression: For greater flexibility, you can use the ONIXEDIT Bookstore XPath Editor to dynamically define the Shopify Product Type. This allows you to extract values from any specific field within your ONIX metadata—tailoring the product classification to your exact needs.
