ONIXEDIT Cloud user manual

ONIXEDIT Cloud is the online ONIX editor of ONIXEDIT: sign in from any modern browser, browse the titles of your catalogues, enter and validate their metadata in ONIX 2.1 or ONIX 3.0, import and export files, transmit to your trading partners and manage your subscription and users. The Help menu of the top bar opens the chapter of this manual that matches the screen you are on, in your language.

Who sees what

What you can do depends on the rights granted on each catalogue and on your role in the account:

  • The account owner sees My Subscription and Manage Users in the Settings menu and can buy extra media space; sub-users are asked to contact their administrator instead.
  • On each catalogue, the Read, Add, Modify, Delete, Lock/Unlock and Edit default values rights decide which buttons and menu entries are shown. A catalogue you may only read opens titles with View instead of Edit.
  • Some entries only exist for certain subscriptions: the Media Space menu on the hosted platform, ONIX 3.0 options on a Cloud subscription, the Bookstore when it has been activated.

If an entry you expect is missing, sign out and back in first — rights are refreshed at sign-in — then contact ONIXEDIT support.
