March was tremendous for ONIXEDIT!
Wow! What a great month we've had for ONIXEDIT this March!
- Nearly a hundred new users have joined our community. Welcome!
- We've partnered with the amazing OCLC team. Now ONIXEDIT is officially recognized as a recommended ONIX software in the "OCLC Metadata Services for Publishers" (please, see our page ONIX software and services);
- Our participation in the 2010 BNC Technology Forum on March 25 was a great success. As our first experience presenting our outstanding program, what better could we ask than the warm welcome we received in Toronto? I would like in particular to thank all the team from Booknet Canada for this wonderful day. What a pleasure to meet our real users, to match faces to names, to shake hands, and to explain to all our visitors and possible future users what excites and motivates us, the wonderful world of metadata and ONIX!
- We are working hard now on the next version, which will support ONIX 3.0. Our development team is going through coffee at a frightening rate and wearing out our fingertips on keyboards in order to provide you with the best ONIX 3.0 program ever.
- In response to popular demand, in the next few weeks we will be releasing a version which will allow export of data in tabulated form. Please don't hesitate to send us your ideas, your needs, and any improvements you would like to see, since we are always here to listen to our users.
- We are proud to announce that we will be participating in the "Making Information Pay" event presented by BISG on May 6, 2010 in New York. Come one, come all to meet us!
